Trikora E-commerce Platform
End-to-end headless e-commerce for a Swiss promotional products company — Gatsby and Next.js front ends on Strapi, including a large-scale WordPress-to-Strapi product migration.
Engagement: Mar 2024 – Dec 2025
Challenge
The catalog lived in WordPress with thousands of products, relations, and media. The client needed a faster front end, a proper headless CMS, and e-commerce features (cart, wishlist) without rebuilding content from scratch.
Approach
We architected Strapi content models for products and categories, migrated 30,000+ products with normalization and media handling, and built Gatsby/Next.js front ends with reusable hooks for cart and wishlist state.
Solution
Delivered a headless commerce platform with Strapi as the API, static and server-rendered front ends, product filters, and add-to-cart / wishlist flows. Multiple Upwork contracts covered the Gatsby rebuild and a subsequent Next.js phase.
Outcomes
- 30,000+ products migrated from WordPress to Strapi
- Cart and wishlist flows implemented
- Gatsby + Next.js front ends on one CMS
- 5.0 ratings across related Upwork contracts
